AYDEC's Continental Project Director with other delegates at the Peace and Security Forum in Uganda - AYDEC ACTIVELY PARTICIPATED AT THE PEACE AND SECURITY FORUM IN UGANDA The Continental Project Director (CPD) of African Youth for Development Commission (AYDEC) who also is the Country Representative of South-Sudan, Paul Duwar Bak, led a delegation of AYDEC members from South-Sudan and other East-African countries to attend a 2-Day Eastern Africa Youth Empowerment Forum on Peace and Security organized by Yearning Voices in partnership with Pan-African Youth Movement in Uganda. The Forum was themed "Youth for Peace in Africa" and officially supported by the Federal Government of Uganda and Action Aid Africa. At the event which ended on Saturday, September 21, 2019, AYDEC posited for a Sustainable Development Initiative on Peace and Security within the East-African Region and a strategic approach towards sustaining Peace across Africa and beyond.

AYDEC with Nigeria Immigration Service Officials - AYDEC-NIGERIA TIPPED AS PARTNER WITH JIFORM TO ORGANIZE INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION CONFERENCE IN NIGERIA As a reference from the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), African Youth for Development Commission (AYDEC) Nigeria had been officially tipped to work as a main Partner with Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM) to organize the forthcoming International Migration Conference in Nigeria. This was disclosed at a Strategic Meeting with DCI James Sunday (the Service PRO of NIS), who recommended AYDEC-Nigeria, at the Immigration Headquarters, Abuja. The delegation of AYDEC-Nigeria; Lateef Oladimeji Salaam (Country Representative), Zainab Adekanmbi (Director of Welfare and Social Affairs) and James Ewaoche (FCT Abuja Coordinator) appreciated the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for deeming AYDEC fit for such task. The Country Representative also applauded the CGI, Babandede, for his numerous achievements in the Migration Sector. Consequently, the delegation expressed the organization's readiness to address the myriad challenges of migration such as human trafficking and irregular migration which some Nigerians, especially the youth are actively involved in recently. The Country Representative, Lateef Oladimeji Salaam, assured that all the 36 State Coordinators and FCT Abuja Coordinator of AYDEC-Nigeria alongside members across the Continent will be mobilized for the International Migration Conference and subsequently actively engaged towards ensuring productive implementation of migration policies. He promised to roll out AYDEC-Nigeria's Smart Migration Project at their forthcoming meeting with the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
1st Executive Meeting of AYDEC South-Sudan - #AYDECSouthSudanMeets The 1st African Youth for Development Comission, South-Sudan (AYDEC-SS) National Executive Board Meeting held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at South Sudan Hotel, Buluk. The meeting was presided over by the Country Representative Barr. Paul Duwar Bak wherein he officially announced the appointment of National Executive Board Members. The Country Representative also charged them to be good representatives of AYDEC-SS and Ambassadors of Peace in The Republic of South Sudan.
Abiodun Essiet Appointed as Special Adviser - A delegation of African Youth for Development Commission (AYDEC) Nigeria, led by the Country Representative was on a visitation to officially congratulate AYDEC-Nigeria's Director of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Abiodun Essiet, on her recent appointment as Special Adviser, ICT, Donor Agencies and Civil Societies at Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). Her appointment was in tandem with AYDEC thematic area of Youth inclusion in governance, as such AYDEC-Nigeria used the medium to commend the Executive Chairman of AMAC for the good gesture. The team discussed ICDL Training for Teachers and youths which AYDEC will kick-start soonest across the country and also presented her with an official portrait on behalf of the National Executive Board and 37 State Coordinators (FCT Abuja inclusive). The lawmaker, in a letter he personally signed on Monday, September 16, 2019, named James Ewaoche Amedu, alongside 2 others as his Media Aides. The project aimed at including men in the campaigns to end violence against women. Working with men and boys in ending VAWG. AYDEC - Drafting Nigeria's National Youth Policy - AYDEC ENGAGED IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH POLICY IN NIGERIA The Country Representative, Lateef Oladimeji Salaam was represented by Comr. James Amedu (AYDEC, FCT Abuja Coordinator) at the ongoing Technical Workshop with Selected Youth Organization Representatives and the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports Development, Nigeria, discussing and putting forth workable strategies for implementation of the National Youth Policy. At the workshop which was held in Abuja, African Youth for Development Commission, AYDEC sued for a sustainable and pragmatic approach towards implementation of the National Youth Policy. AYDEC also charged the Federal Ministry of Youth and other Youth organizations to be proactive and consider the Strength and Weaknesses of the previous NYP documents. AYDEC Angola Drafts Angola's National Youth Policy - AYDEC-ANGOLA ENGAGED IN DEVELOPING 5 YEARS MASTER PLAN FOR ANGOLA. AYDEC-Angola with the support of Juvenile Association for Community Development of Angola (AJUDECA) was officially invited by NCA on Monday, 29th of April to participate in the Strategic Planning Meeting towards developing a 5-Year Master Plan. The Team AYDEC Angola contributed productively with the idea of achieving #TheAfricaWeWant and on how Angola can implement the #Agenda2030, #Agenda2063 and the African Youth Charter of the African Union.

AYDEC - Drafting Nigeria's National Youth Policy - AYDEC ENGAGED IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH POLICY IN NIGERIA The Country Representative, Lateef Oladimeji Salaam was represented by Comr. James Amedu (AYDEC, FCT Abuja Coordinator) at the ongoing Technical Workshop with Selected Youth Organization Representatives and the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports Development, Nigeria, discussing and putting forth workable strategies for implementation of the National Youth Policy. At the workshop which was held in Abuja, African Youth for Development Commission, AYDEC sued for a sustainable and pragmatic approach towards implementation of the National Youth Policy. AYDEC also charged the Federal Ministry of Youth and other Youth organizations to be proactive and consider the Strength and Weaknesses of the previous NYP documents. Indeed, no society develops without investing positively on its youth. #AYDEC ...charting a new cause of action for African development.

AYDEC Gambia Clean Environment Initiative - As part of our objectives in making the Gambia in particular and Africa at large a clean and safe environment for all, AYDECGambia with the the support of #KMC today embark on a massive Drainage clean up at Westfield cooperative. AYDEC Angola Drafts Angola's National Youth Policy - AYDEC-ANGOLA ENGAGED IN DEVELOPING 5 YEARS MASTER PLAN FOR ANGOLA. AYDEC-Angola with the support of Juvenile Association for Community Development of Angola (AJUDECA) was officially invited by NCA on Monday, 29th of April to participate in the Strategic Planning Meeting towards developing a 5-Year Master Plan. The Team AYDEC Angola contributed productively with the idea of achieving #TheAfricaWeWant and on how Angola can implement the #Agenda2030, #Agenda2063 and the African Youth Charter of the African Union.
